WHAT'S OUR POLICY?

Ms. Tiara has been working with children for most of her life since the age of 12. She is certified in 90 Clock hour preschool certification, 45 clock hour infant and toddler certification, First aid and CPR certification, ADA training and certification, Health and safety, Breastfeeding Certification, Medication Administration, emergency preparedness, Detecting Child Abuse, Active Shooter training, etc. She is also
11 credits away from earning her degree as well. She became a professional Early Childhood teacher in 2016 when she worked at her first early learning center as an infant/toddler teacher. From there she transitioned to Bright Horizons Family Solutions for 4 years. Within that time, during the pandemic, the seed that started Glorious light Mobile Childcare LLC was planted. Ms. Tiara became Founder of the company and ran it part time until 2021, where she became a full time Entrepreneur. So far Glorious
light mc has nurtured and cared for at least 20 families in the DMV area and is determined to continue to grow.

Imani Curtis is an educator with over 10 years in the field working with students ranging
from preschool through high school. Imani’s early childhood career began in 2012 after
receiving her 90 clocks hours certification in Child development 1 and 2. Following this,
she pursued a degree in Dance Education at Morgan State University, completing 2 years
at the university. While away from College, Imani used her experience in both Dance and
education and worked in the field as a dance, and tumbling instructor. This area of
education fulfilled her desire to both dance and teaching youth. today. Imani is now
working on a BA in Early Childhood Education and has also held several other
certifications as well. She has completed first aid and CPR, Health and Safety, building
relationships with Families, etc. She is excited to join our team and hopes to build great
relationships with the families and teachers while providing excellent childcare service.
